Description:
A—B — Two stretchers: each wire framework in shape of knee sock with slight narrowing above the ankle and curved appendage on top for hanging. Gray paint. Length of foot has six settings for sizes 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5, and 13 and is currently set at size 11. Dark gray bar, threaded through eye in crossbar, is attached to toe at one end and free at other end. Toward free end are six labelled notches that are forced into crossbar by spring pressing against top of foot. Frame for lower part of foot is tube overlapping solid wire of upper part.
Notes:
Probably used in home to dry socks, especially wool ones, so they would maintain size & shape.
