Description:
Rectangular glass well with embossed diamond pattern on inside of top and ridges along side. Ridged glass bulbous ball mounted to top. Metal ringed hole for inserting pen in front. Embossed lettering on bottom.
Inscription: PAT. JULY 11, 1905
Notes:
Found in Forrest Bates' workshop by his daughter, Amey. He was a collector, probably from Juneau.
