Description:
Arch framed wood or buck saw or braced frame wood saw. Hardwood frame (maple in Sears catalog). Painted green. Looped rod painted silver with black adjustment hardware. Saw blade 2 inches by 30 inches. Metal pin hold ends of blade in frame. Frame brace fastened with central rivet and mortise and tenon joints at ends.
Inscriptions: Embossed on threaded saw rod: "NO—500. / E.G.A. & CO."
Engraved on saw blade: Symbol and writing illegible through rust.
