Description:
A — Handmade red velveteen dress 46 inches long from shoulder to hem, 20 inches across from sleeve to sleeve, length to below knees, approximately size 8. Long sleeves, puffed upper portion. Bodice has stitched scalloped pattern. Side snaps; hook and eye fastener at neck.
B — Handmade matching belt with buckle, held on dress by one side loop of string.

Mary Lou Spartz received this dress in trunk with a number of other things from Isobel McLean. French silk velvet popular 1930s. Most likely worn in afternoons.
