Description:
At top and bottom are alternating black and silver stripes and between are silver sections separated by narrow black lines. Thermometer in center with black numbers ten to one hundred twenty. Below thermometer are letters on mottled silver—colored surface. Each of four corners has metal piece with design. Back surface is thick paper of fiberboard. Two holes at top hold braided yellow string with tassels. One hole at bottom has metal ring.
Inscription: "FREED HENNING / Complete Outfitter / Juneau Alaska"
Notes:
Item required by donor at garage sale in Juneau.
Fred Henning's store was at 152 S. Franklin until the late '50s, when he sold to Brown & Oliver.
