Notes:
Digital Bob: Mr. and Mrs. Rod Darnell have sold the Triangle Cleaners to A. R. Duncan who has been operating Duncan Cleaning and Pressing Shop. The Darnells plan to vacation aboard their boat, the Silver Spray. Triangle Cleaners was opened by Darnell on September 14, 1935, in the Triangle Building, from which it took its name. It is now located in the old Juneau Laundry Building, across Franklin Street from the Baranof Hotel.
SEPTEMBER 14, 1937—Rod Darnell today marked the completion of his first year as owner of Triangle Cleaners which he purchased from the late N. G. Nelson. Mr. Darnell had been in charge of the cleaning work for the Alaska Laundry prior to his purchase of Triangle Cleaners.
Phone books indicate that Triangle Cleaners closed about 1973. The business was bought about by the Darlins and Alaska Laundry and moved to the building on 12th Street by the school.
