Blue and yellow banner made of a weather resistant textile. Both side have the same design.
Main area of the banner is blue, with a yellow border and yellow text. At the top of the poster is an image of the big dipper and the north star in yellow. Beneath the graphic is the following: "CELEBRATING / STATEHOOD / 1959 — 2009 / ALASKA / 50 " . The "50" is the largest of the text. A metal grommet is located in three of the four corners.
