Description:
Metal boundary marker for the Mendenhall Wetlands. Metal is silver in color. Top face has relief text and a illustration of a flying goose with landscape in the background. Text reads: "MENDENHALL WETLANDS \ 1410S \ MC USS \ 78 2125 \1984 \ STATE GAME REFUGE". Goose illustration is at center with text around edges. Marker has a hallow cylindrical base. Sides have two holes. Interior of base has a piece of rubber glued inside a center circular area.
Notes:
Accession file notes: Marker was installed in 1984, but was put in incorrect location. Workers came and removed it. They had placed new markers in the proper locations. Jim King asked if he could keep this one.
