Skookum Jim Finds the Gold by Dale DeArmond. Green, blue, light brown, dark brown and black woodblock print on white paper of a man kneeling beside a river. The river flows from a mountain in the background. There is a frog above the man in the upper proper left corner. The man is looking at a sun face in the water. The print is on paper with a border. The edges of the paper are unfinished. Directly below the print handwritten in pencil is text reading "Skookum Jim Finds the Gold Dale DeArmond imp".
Notes:
Print is part of a 1975 four print series called "The True Story of the Discovery of Gold on Bonanza Creek." It is also known as "Frog Shows Skookum Jim the Gold." Other prints in the series incldue: "Skookum Jim Rescues Frog" and "Frog People Bring Food for Skookum Jim."
