Description:
A — Light green dress with dark green scarf around its neck. Dress is long sleeved, short—skirted child's dress of heavy twill fabric. Dress has 3 front pockets — 1 on proper left chest and 2 at hips. Each pocket is closed w/ brown metal pin embossed with Girl Scout symbol. Same buttons fasten both wrist cuffs and neck. Collar of dress has letters "GS" embroidered in medium green to both sides. At hem, dress has fabric sewn on side seams so skirt may expand for walking, etc. Dress has 2 belt loops, 1 to either side of waist. Back has inverted pleat, gathered at waist.
B — Dark green scarf ties in front at neck in single knot with ends trailing down. Scarf comes down in back in triangle. A clover with letters "GS" is embroidered in gold in back center.

Notes:
Used by donor in 1935. Uniform was previously used by Mary Stewart (daughter of Ben & Jane Stewart). This style started in 1928. Scarf was new in 1935. Hat and belt are missing. Accompanied by photo (2001.03.002).
