Description:
A — Small twined basket. Materials may be woven cedar bark, spruce root, and dyed swamp grass. Basket likely Notka (or Nu—Chul—Nuth) and not Tlingit. Top of basket has flange to hold lid. Two dark strips around bottom, four—legged creature on one side, profile of leaf on opposite side, in dark purple dyed materials.
B — Lid has stripes of muted purple, brown at edge, circle of orange in center with dark border.
