Bench grinder (A) with electric motor (B) and extra buffing wheel (C).

A: Craftsman bench grinder. Cylindrical shaft atop a two footed base. The shaft rotates. There are a circular grinding wheel at each end of the shaft. One wheel is green stone and has a paper label identifying it as a product by Carborundum Co. located in Niagara Falls, New York. The other wheel is metal with a piece of black high grit sand paper around its outer edge. Metal label on front of grinder identifies it as a Craftsman brand tool.

B: Black electric motor with long rubber covered electrical cord. On one side of the motor there is a wheel with a center groove. The wheel turns. The center groove holds a belt which also wraps around the center section of the bench grinder. Metal tag on the opposite side of the motor than the wheel reads: "TYPE FNT \ AC MOTOR \ 56Z FRAME \ S 1178670E \ HP VOLTS AMPERES \ 1/4 115 4 9 \ PHRASES CYCLES RPM \ 1 60 1/25 \ DEG C HOURS SERIAL \ 50 CONT BZ \ CODE \ OPEN S \ WESTINGHOUSE \ ELECTRICAL CORPORATION \ NP4527 MADE IN U.S.A.".

C: Wheel used for buffing, sanding or grinding. Circular cross—section of wood with hole at center. Exterior edge is covered with black textile.

D: Rubber belt that connects motor to grinder.
