Description:
Long, skinny rod, with 3.5 inches diameter hook with rounded tip. Opposite end continues on into circle for handhold. All one continuous piece.

According to donor, this may have been used at Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. to remove "clinkers" from furnaces at foundry.

Object is mislabeled, it currently has the number 93.19.003 affixed to the inside of the handle. I put a paper tag on the handle with this number on it. AEF 01/18/2012.
