Hinged Cupel Tongs
Long metal tongs. Made of two metal bars, which cross over about six (6) inches from the end. At this point they are connected by a pin, which forms a hinge. The arms continue from this point and end in parallel upward points. Tips are curved. There is also a fair amount of paint on the ends.

Notes:
Used to pick up and move around cupels, and cupel trays during the assaying process. The curved tips are designed to fit into the holes in a the front of a cupel tray.
