Description:
Wood engraving print using black ink. The illustration is of a man wearing a Hamatsa Mask. The mask has a carved animal face. The animal has a long nose with a longer bottom lip. The animal has short hair or fur along its top, sides and back. Text written in pencil below the edge of the print reads: "Hamatsa Mask — Bella Coola — 1893 55/75 D. DeArmond — imp 1980". The print is double matted with a white mat on top of a black mat. Both mats have tan edges. The frame is black wood.
