Notes:
This bag belonged to Thomas S. Parke. Bag may have been acquired in the 1920's. Vera Parke had a nearly identical bag. Possibly the bags were purchased for their honeymoon trip, May 1937, when they drove from North Dakota to Seattle and then on to Juneau on the steam ship. Tom was returning home to Juneau; Vera was traveling to Juneau for the first time.
The bags were used into the 1980's — they were always the "warmest" of this style of sleeping bag and were referred to by their daughters as "Moms" or "Dads" sleeping bags.
Vacuumed.
