Can, Oil
Title:
Tin vessel with spout
Description:
Tin vessel, one quart, with 3.0 inch curved spout and square—cornered handle (possibly oil can?). Vessel tapers slightly as it goes up. Top of vessel flares out, then curves over and back in again around a large hole for filling vessel with liquid; spout emerges from this top part. Dirt and rust patterns forming a shaded—in rectangle on side of vessel seem to indicate that a label was once affixed there. Embossed in side of vessel under spout: "1 QT. / LIQUID" and underneath, in a half—diamond outline: "APPROVED / MINN (?)."
