Oak card filing cabinet with six drawers arranged in three layers of two each. Unit has a rolltop—style drawer that pulls down from the top to cover the six internal card file drawers. Manufacturer's name is stamped in gold writing at top center: "Globe."

Used for employee information cards (4x6"). Oldest personnel cards were from 1914.
Used at the Treadwell Mine Complex in the Treadwell vault. Moved to the AJ Office vault on Thane Road in 1922. The mustard and gray paint drips and flecks are from various paint colors, probably in the AJ vault. The content of the cabinets were donated to the AK Historical Library in 2000. Used to hold individual personnel cards.
