Description:
A — Black record has .25"—inch center hole and black label with gold print reading 1129—D, patent numbers, Columbia logo with musical note and other information. Number etched into record near label. Both songs performed by Don Voorhees & His Orchestra.
B — 10 inches by 10 inches by .24 centimeters paper sleeve with indented top slit is printed in black on tan paper with 3—inch diameter center hole cut out to reveal labels. One side has logo and "For Victory Buy United States War Bonds & Stamps" in boxes; other side has price list and trademark information.
Inscription: A — "MY BLUE HEAVEN", a foxtrot / SOLILOQUY, a foxtrot / W (in circle) 144689".
Notes:
Originally sleeve came w/ Perry Como's "Prisoner of Love"; "All Through the Day", also a RCA Victor label but record broke & so discarded.
Belonged to donor's mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Barrager Ninnis, who graduated from Juneau High School in 1931.
