Description:
Platinum hot plate or evaporating dish
Small piece of metal in tear drop shape. In the middle there is an impression in which chemicals would be placed. At the top of the shape is a 'B' scratched into the metal.
Notes:
Platinum has a high melting point and is non—reactive with other metals. Used for high temperature chemical analysis.
