Description:
Blue and gold ball point ink pen. The body and the grip of the pen are both shades of navy blue. The tip, end, clip and band between the body and the grip are all gold colored metal. On the side of the body is gold text reading: Legislation Signed By Sean Parnell Governor of Alaska". The name "Sean Parnell" is the man's siguature. The pen's point is spring loaded and the end needs to be clicked to expose it.

The pen was used by Govenor Sean Parnell to sign the legislation bill officially making November 14th of each year Walter Soboleff Day.
Notes:
The bill for Walter Soboleff Day was passed in March 2014 and the bill was officially signed on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Marine Park in downtown Juneau.

Walter Soboleff (1908—2011) was a native Tlignit man. He was active member of the Alaska Native Brotherhood, Chairman of the State Board of Education, a director of the Sealaska Corporation, a Mason, and a Monarch of the Juneau Lions
Club. He was a minister at the Memorial Prespetrian Chuch for 22 years. The church was located on Gastineau Aveune (where the downtown Fire Station is today). The Walter Soboleff Center, built by Sealaska Heritage Institute in 2014, hosts cultural events, art exhibitions,
and other activities.
