Description:
Wood box with no top. Fastened with common nails. Routed handles on ends of box. Red and green print on both sides and ends of box. Wood smooth planed only on printed surfaces. Rest of box pieces are rough surfaced.
Inscription: "REMINGTON / 10,000 #1522 / HI—SPEED / 22 LONG RIFLE / NON—CORROSIVE KLEANBORE PRIMING"
"A17R" stamped on 1 end piece.
Sides of box: "REMINGTON CARTRIDGES / WITH NON—CORROSIVE KLEANBORE PRIMING / DUPONT / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., BRIDGEPORT, CONN. / SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION 12 MADE IN U.S.A."
