"Edison" Portable Alkaline Battery for Cap Lamp

Description:
Portable battery pack with housing made of "corrision resistent monel metal" (alloy of copper, nickel). At top is point of attachment for rubber cable extending to cap lamp. Face (front) is divided into 3 equal sections, each to a point at top of battery. On proper left side is magnetic lock(?) securing lid to cells inside. On back are 2 metal loops or carriers where battery slides onto miner's belt. This is Edison battery pack, name is stamped in lid, centered in front of cable attachment; but is not 1 of models featured in MSA catalog.
