Description:
Cast iron bootjack in shape of cricket with six legs. Antennae forms "U" shape to grip heel of boot. Painted w/ black lacquer overall with gold wings & red eyes. Hole perforates end of cricket.

See file for original story behind the cricket from the original maker plus note from Ethel Montgomery saying this had been a wedding gift in 1917. She donated it to church auction in 1982 when it was purchased by the donors.
