Description:
Matched pair of white milk glass light shades, 2.25 inch diameter at top and 7.375 inch diameter at open bottom. Shade flares in curve with vertical groove extending into points between scallops at bottom. Tops have raised rims where, on one shade, brass connector is attached by three screws. Connector holds electrical fixture in place with ring that may be tightened by a fourth screw. Electrical fixture is standard two plugs, chain pull, 250 W—250 V, type that accommodates one light bulb which is screwed into socket. Ground hole is between 2two equal—sized prong holes.
Inscription: "PAT'D DEC. 9 90. SEPT.29.96 (1890—1896)" stamped on brass connecting ring.
