C. Iraqi Prayer beads wrapped around right glove thumb. Approximately 25.25 inches long Alternating tan and brown cylindrical beads about 0.25 inches long strung on braided greencloth twine. Joined by a single one (1) inch bead with a single groove nearest the bead chain. Copper wire is wrapped around green twine at tip of two (2) strands each knotted together at the bottom.
Notes:
C. Prayer beads: They were given to Zuelow by a young many about 20 on the edge of their patrol space in August of 2005. Zuelow did not know who he was. Zuelow was told that if he wore them then "Allah would keep him safe". They generated two more sets of beads as others would see them and give him prayer beads.
