Description:
Print of a drawing by Dale DeArmond titled "Chief of the Taku". Drawing is of a native Tlingit man wearing regalia. He is wearing a headdress that has two animal faces in the front and has animal fur along the back. He is also wearing a woven shawl. The man has a beard and mustache. He is facing to the proper right and is viewed from the side. Along the lower edge of the print there is text handwritten in pencil reading: "Chief of the Taku Edition — 14/100 DeArmond — 1960". The print is framed and matted. The frame is a dark, almost black, wood. It has a double mat. The lower mat is gold with a black edge. The upper mat is cream in color. The back is covered with a black paper dust cover. On the dust cover along the lower edge is a silver sticker with black text reading: "Prints, posters & original artwork \ available at Rainsong Gallery \ 1—800—540—0809 \ www.rainsonggallery.com".
