Description:
A — Heavy bird's eye maple wood base has traditional tri—color shield with derby logo attached with three metal screws. two white stars each side of sponsor's, Chevrolet, logo in blue area. Large blue lettters in white area above red and white stripes. Below shield is 0.5 inch circle wood platform covered with two section steel plate attached with screws. Glued to plate are metal figures of derby official wearing black and white checkered shirt and metal model of Derby car and driver. Below platform is metal "ribbon" strip with black letters.
B — Black and white checkered signal metal flag inserted in Derby official's hand. Back of "A" has metal hanger held by two screws. Metal circle below hanger with name and number. Four screws that hold front platform.

"CITY CHAMPION / JUNEAU ALASKA / 1947 SOAP BOX DERBY"
B — "WALLACE / T1192C"
