Description:
Two cow horns and framed mirror attached to green velvet board with metal backing. Board is about 9.5 inches by 4.25 inches rectangle with corners lopped off. Mirror in center is 4 inches by 2 inches with bronze and silver colored frame molded into bamboo or segmented wood shapes, attached with brads. Horns are gold and brown curving up and outward beyond edges of board. Entire metal backing covers velvet board, is nailed and bradded in six places with five holes empty. Projecting metal piece has three holes along top.
Inscription: "Made from cow horns from Peterson home".
Notes:
Donor says it was made by Eddie Olson in Manual Arts Class; he died in 1947 at age 16. Appears to be pre—1947.
