Eyeglasses
Description:
"A" is a pair of eyeglasses with rimless glass bifocal lens and a brass nose guard and earpieces. The earpieces are twisted metal, which makes them flexible and formative around the wearers head and ears. The noseguard has an etched design and screws into the pair of lens on either side with steel screws. The nose pads are either horn(keritan) or plastic.
"B" is the glasses case. It is made of two pieces of either plastic or wood and covered in leather on the outside and velvet cloth on the inside. The velvet is a deep burgundy red and the leather is lighter red. The two pieces are connected by a steel hinge along the back that has a spring inside which makes the case close shut very tightly with out the need of a locking mechanism. In steel on top of the case is the label, "Dr. D.D. Marquardt Optometrist Juneau, Alaska".
