Description:
Household kerosene lantern, hand painted red. Body: iron painted red, hanging hook on top of chimney, bale hinged in frame. Removal / insertion of globe by sprung chimney and two flexible wire holders. Burner hinged for lighting, wick turner, screwtop on front.
Globe: clear glass, almost spherical, upper opening ridged.
Inscription: Top: Embossed "DIETZ" (twice)
Front: Embossed "DIETZ" / "LITTLE GIANT" / 70 HOUR FOUNT CAPACITY" / "NY USA"
Screw Top: Embossed "DIETZ" / MADE…." illegible with rust and paint
