Description:
Brown canvas satchel has red—painted hinging metal framework allowing it to open and lie flat. Fabric covered cardboard is center piece separating two compartments. One side of center piece is picture of girl in fur coat, hat and muff with insets of birds and snowy house. Opposing sets of leather straps w/ buckle and holes; 1 strap of 4 is missing. Swiveling metal arms on opposite compartment for securing middle divider. Chromed metal hardware for 2 swivels that close satchel and center piece with keyhole and button to lock it. Heavy leather handle is secured with D—rings. Twin attached to D—ring has remnant of paper label.
