a — 11.625 inch by 2.125 inch round straight bolt has 1.5 inch opening at one end. Shaft has threads cut into it half—way along length; one washer and one square four—sided nut are attached.
b — 9.25 inch by 2—inch round slightly curved bolt has 1.5 inch opening at one end. Shaft has threads cut into it near base with square four—sided nut attached.
Notes:
Donor's father, Glen Oakes, was stockkeeper/wharfinger for A.J. Mine. Started at Treadwell 1913, then to A.J. 1916. Retired 1962. (Pat Oakes, daughter).
