Description:
Brass bell with two rows of raised designs on upper half. Broad iron looped holder on top to fasten to cow's collar. Iron holder, suspended from mount inside, holds brass clapper. Background on top half of bell is etched, lower part is smooth.
Inscription: "Swiss Made" embossed on side of bell centered top to bottom.
Notes:
Donor state bell (probably brought from Germany) was Erma Peterson Olson's & used by Peterson family. Cows were kept for family use.
