Mink or Martin Pelt Stretcher Boards
11 pelt stretching boards bundled together by a long leather thong.
A—H are full size boards. Individual boards have holes in the backs where pelts have been tacked down. Stretcher boards are approximately 4 1/2" at the bottom and 36" long.
I—K are small stretcher boards. Small stretcher boards are 1"—1 1/2" at the bottom and 30" — 31 1/2" long.
L — Leather thong
Wooden boards are had cut and carved, edges have been beveled by hand. Each has a long flat end while the other end is shaped to a point.

Notes:
Animal is skinned without slitting the belly. Pelt is turned inside out and put on the board. As the pelt dries and shrinks, one of the smaller boards is inserted along the belly of the animal.
The holes in the boards are from where the pelt has been pinned to the board.
