Description:
Large massive squared four—sided hood suspended from ceiling on four corners. Side seams are bolted together. Top section overlaps sides. Sides taper slightly at bottom and sharply at top to form circular hollow opening.
Notes:
Found in collections in Last Chance Mining Museum. (Compressor Building). These objects were acquired when city purchased Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. properties in 1974 from AEL&P who had purchased the properties from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. in 1972.

Moved to Compressor Building from Forge shop on upper lever (Last Chance Basin) to make exhibit. Measurements approximate. Couldn't measure from top to base.
