Description:
Golden brown mountain sheep horn spoon has wide shallow bowl tapering into handle with concave pointed end. Small hole perforates handle end through which is strung short tan cotton string.
Notes:
According to donor spoon has been in her family as long as she can remember & may have been made in Kake as her grandfather, Jake Yakwan, who was the Kogwonton Chief there.
On exhibit at Centennial Hall May 2004 — Jan 2008.
