Barch—Payzant Lettering Pens
Description:
A — Four lettering pen boxes bound together by a strip of masking tape. Each box states, "ONE / BARCH—PAYZANT (FREEHAND) LETTERING PEN NO. 3224" followed by manufacture's name and patent date "FEB. l, 1921". Boxes are handwritten #1, #3, #4, #5 respectively. Each box is composed of four—sided tube with insert holding pen wrapped in cotton fabric (except #4) advertising indelible inks, also available from manufacturer. Each pen has wood handle with metal nib.
