Description:
A — Electric iron with nickel plated shell; wooden shaped handle; Bakelite thumb rest and Bakelite knob for temperature setting. Temperature dial is calibrated with setting of "HIGH" to "LOW". Iron soleplate has button notches on both sides of front tip; name plate is attached to heel rest.
B — Detachable cord plugs into iron at base of handle, above name plate. Extra long cord is yellow and black; one section of cord is wrapped with metal coil allowing cord to expand and contract. Both ends of cord have rubber plugs.
Inscription: "FOR ALTERNATING CURRENT ONLY / GENERAL ELECTRIC / HOTPOINT / CALROD / CAT. NO. 119F86....".
