Description:
a — Plate with fluted edge, "Diamond Glaze," and mustached dragon figure in yellow center. Beneath dragon are waves; surrounding it are five bats. Dragons in blue border of plate with four Chinese letter characters and waves. Geometric design on inner border. Colors on front: yellow, blue, pink, brown, and tan. Half—inch foot on back of plate. Fluted design around foot. Back colored in bronze, blue, black, and turquoise. Stored in padded gray case with Plexiglas protector. Case is covered in gold and blue fabric with red liner.
b — Stand is made of rosewood. Open—work design on back rest and on plate rest. Cutwork support holds rests and plate holder together. Red varnish.

Donated to CBJ to commemorate sister city status by Taiwanese Committee, including Mayor Po—Ya Chang; plus informational materials. Loaned for exhibit at Centennial Hall 9/29/95. Decorative box in museum coll. rm.
