Description:
Round point shovel with steel shovel point featuring rolled edge tread, short wood shaft and D—handle solid wood grip. Worn label suggest shovel maker was Union Tool Inc. Entire shovel was coated post—manufacture w/ gold paint and face of blade hand lettered in dark blue paint: "Groundbreaking U.S. Post Office & Court House Juneau, Alaska July 8, 1963".
