Description:
A — Brown pebbly—grained suitcase has two compartments. Side latches close one section; center sliding button / lock closes the other one. 6.0 inch handle attaches to two rings. Top compartment has green desk blotter set in black on bottom, beige moiré fabric gathered into pocket on top, also snapping cloth tabs. Bottom compartment is lined in same beige moiré fabric. Four sewed or snapped—down cloth holders on top are for mirror, toilet articles, which are missing. Bottom has cloth loops for containers, two of which remain. Letters 1.0 inch high in gold with black shadow.
B — Slightly wedge—shaped box 5.0 inch by 1.5 inch by 1.0 inch
C — Toothbrush holder, 1.25 inch by 6.75 inch by 1.0 inch
B—C — Transparent brown bottoms and gold tortoise—shell lids with ornate carved edges.
Inscription: "V.M.H." on outside.
