Description:
Large sheet of aluminum with one side printed in black ink from page of Juneau Alaska Empire newspaper. Headline reads: "Trevor and Cedric Davis Note 56 Years of Hunting Together" under section "Oldtime Juneauites". There are seven Trevor Davis photos of family boats and deer. Reverse is blank.
Notes:
Donor's father used recycled newspaper plates, including this one, to hold insulation in his garage on Tanis Street. Family had moved to Juneau in 1964. Aluminum sheet is key to offset printing. Lithographic process still used to print newspaper today. See donor file for more information.
