Description:
Black and white photo in horizontal view of a three story house on a mountain slope uphill or 4 smaller buildings. The large building has a totem figure in the middle of the second story above a sign that reads: "CHEIF JOHNSONS HOUSE". The building closest to the staris leading uphill has a handwritten "X" on the roof gable. Snow covers the ground and the roof tops. Trees are visible on the mountain slope above the house. On reverse side is 1 stamp with black handwritten ink: "Deft Exhibit No. A Received in evidence MAR 30 1914 In Cause no 1030—A. J.W. Bell Clerk " and in pencil: "Dft Ex A for Indent".

Photo has water stain proper left, lower corner gone lower proper right and upper margin gone proper right.
