Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Karen's plane leaving 8/29/64" in handwriting. The image shows a flat view of a parking lot in the foreground, with two lines of cars stretching into the middling area. At right, there are two red and white radar[?] towers, at center a small yellow building with two empty flagpoles to its right, and at left a low orange building with a peaked roof. Beyond is a section of snowcapped mountain range in the background. The sky takes up an enormous amount of space at the top of the image. At top right, there is a line of what seems to be exhaust, possibly created by Karen's plane, which may be too far away to see. The number "18" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
