Description:
Black and white photograph of a man on the street, standing in front of a building. The man is wearing a cap, shirt, vest, and pants. He has a pipe in his mouth and a bag (?) held in his left hand. He is standing in front of the Northern Hotel. Two floors are seen of the building, the ground floor and the one above it. The second story has three visible windows. The ground floor appears to only have shop fronts, with display windows. The display window on the proper left reads, "CONFECTIONARY \ CIGARS" and has items for display. Hung above the entrance is a sign that says "NORTHERN \ HOTEL" with a smaller sign below it with indiscernible text.
