He is turned to look at the camera. The man on the proper left is wearing overalls (?), a jacket, glasses, gloves, and a cap. He has a pipe in his mouth. In the background, there is a man and woman standing together below a sign that reads, "FISH RETAIL MARKET". An open door is seen in the background, into the cold storage. The shadow of a fifth person is seen on the ground on the proper right.
