Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4 1949" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float, covered in white and pink flowers. The text on the sides reads "Filipino Community Will Always Fight for Freedom." On the float sit two girls in pink garb, along with colorful representations of the Filipino flag. Behind the float is a building, whose sign is cut off, but the visible portion reads "Ship Co." The number "20" is imprinted on the frame at the top left.
