A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Alaska Office Building. June 25—57" in handwriting. The image shows an upward diagonal view of the Alaska Office Building, which now houses the state Department of Fish and Game, on Main Street looking toward Fourth Street. Cars parked diagonally are visible in front of the building, of which only the right half can be seen. Beyond, in the background on Fourth Street, the Juneau Memorial Library is visible. The number "36" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
