    Description:
    Hand tinted black and white photo of women posed in dining hall, seated around tables perpendicular to photographer. On table, are china plates with only olive pits leftover, also plate of toast and bunt cake remains. Two small window in back, lilts hang on lower from ceiling. Calla lilies on side, ivy encircles pillars. Women's faces have been hand tinted with peachy—orange color, as well as some arms and hands. Some were missed and remain original grey. Bottom center inscription: "DOUGLAS ALASKA FEB. 28, 1922" in white print. On back" "Douglas, Alaska Gathering" in blue ink. "1922" in black ink. Brown mat bears E. Andrews embossing at lower proper left.
